Monks Bay
Description
monks berries
Vitex agnus-castus
Origin: Türkiye
Volumes and net weight: 50ml / 25g / 0.88oz
The monk's berry is in fact the dried fruit of Chaste tree.
In the Middle Ages the monks cultivated it for its anaphrodisiac virtues (although no study could prove this power). It also aids digestion and is a good anti-inflammatory.
This berry is small, and is adorned with different colors, gray, white and brown. On the palate, we detect light floral notes as well as a nice bitterness.
