Description

Net volumes and weights: 50ml / 70g / 2.46oz
Origin: India

This rock salt comes from the Himalayas, it is then baked, which gives it this black color. In Hindi, Kala means "black" and namak means "salt", but before undergoing its "transformation" it was indeed pink, like classic Himalayan salt.

It's a rather special salt given that it smells of egg, it's actually due to the sulfur it contains. In the mouth we find this flavor, quite dominant.

using advice

You will hardly use it like a classic salt. It will accompany eggs in different forms, omelette, fried egg, hard-boiled egg in salad and all kinds of quiches but also certain tofu preparations.

It can also accompany salads and chutneys. Use sparingly.

In sweet it is used with fruits, for the most seasoned of its use!
